12 Fall Detox Aids to Support Your Healing Journey

It's all about YOU!

During the time you are taking the infoceuticals (see Bio-Energetic Informational Medicine) you may feel more energized, clear headed and balanced and other days you may feel headachy, have moments of nausea, sluggishness, fatigued and disorientation. We’ve experienced them all including: muscle cramps, joint pain, cold sores and nasal discharge. ALL are perfectly normal healing symptoms.

Become the observer and listen to what your body is saying. Rest when you are tired; eat when hungry; heal your body as it is directing you. Subtle shifts make for huge improvement on all levels. When combined with meditation, breath work, mindfulness practice, exercise, healthy eating, energy healing and NES frequency therapy, it’s a sparkly life cocktail of self-love.

Skin Brushing

Your skin, the largest organ in the human body is an organ of elimination. One third of your body’s toxins are excreted through the skin and dry brushing helps to unclog pores and excrete toxins that become trapped in the skin. Great for lymphatic drainage. Use a natural bristle brush and always brush towards the heart, starting at your extremities (hands & feet).

Steams & Saunas

Both open up pores to eliminate toxins through sweat, relieve joint pains, strengthen the immune system and improve blood circulation. Moisture in the air will clear sinuses and hydrate skin. Try our Infrared Sauna!

Himalayan Pink Salt

Draws toxins out of the circulation system and deeper tissues. Cleanses your colon and digestive system while boosting energy levels and promoting healthy hair, skin, and nails.Take a detox bath with Epsom Salts. A detox bath is one of the easiest healing therapies we can do to facilitate our body's natural detoxification system.

Try this detox bath recipe. The baking soda helps neutralize the chemicals in your bath water and soothes leaves the skin feeling smooth. It also helps increase the absorption of minerals.

Ingredients:

1-2 cups Epsom Salt

1 cup Baking Soda

10 drops of Lavender Essential oils

Directions:

Pour contents into hot bath water and soak for 20 minutes. Try to cover your entire body up to your neck.Once you get out of bath, avoid eating anything for 20 minutes and drink plenty of cold water.

Diet

Top 10 foods to support your body detoxification process: fruit, green veggies, citrus fruits (lemon, lime, orange), garlic, broccoli sprouts, green tea, mung beans, raw or juiced vegetables, seeds & nuts, omega 3 oils (hemp, avocado, olive, or flaxseed). One easy early morning daily practice I use is fresh lemon in warm water. I have a great mung bean recipe for detox to share.

Water

Water is, the river on which our good health flows. Water flushes our bodies of wastes, carries nutrients to our cells, aids digestion by forming stomach secretions, and keeps our kidneys healthy. Use clean filtered or spring water for the highest detoxification benefits.

Massage

Start with a massage to kick-start your body’s own natural cleansing processes. Massage therapy helps jump start the lymphatic system which plays a crucial role in pushing out toxins and boosting your immune system to defend against illness. Improves the circulation and promote blood flow to your organs, tissues, and muscles. The toxins are then squeezed out from between cells and muscle fibers and can be flushed out of the body more easily. I can refer a couple of great MT’s.

Relaxation

Practicing relaxation exercises 20–30 minutes on a daily basis can produce a sense of emotional, physical and mental well-being in every area of your life. Relaxation supports the detoxifyication of old beliefs and patterns no longer serving you. Check out our Mindfulness coaching and practices.

Sleep

Eight hours/night to allow the body to regenerate. At very least increase your sleep by one hour a day even as a nap. Just a 10-20 minute nap will refresh your mind and increase your energy and alertness.

Breathing Exercises

Helps to release unprocessed emotions and expels toxins from the lungs. I can support you here to start a daily meditation and breath work practice.
